Calculating Speed; Graphing Motion

1. Speed
  Rapidity of movement or action
When Cristiano Ronaldo races a Bugatti car, he's using speed

2. Force
Any of various factors that cause a body to change its speed, direction, or shape.
When Taylor Lautnor lifts weights, it changes his body into something marvelous!!

3. Motion
a change in position of an object with respect to time.
The ballerina is making many motions.

4. Balanced Force
Two forces that are equal in size or weight and opposite in direction.
These twins are the same size and are putting in equal force for the doll

5. Unbalanced Force
An unbalance force is one that is not opposed by an equal and opposite force operating directly against the force intended to cause a change in the object's state of motion or rest.
The elephant is not the same size as the mouse, so it is an unbalanced force.

6. Average Speed
The average distance traveled per hour, calculated over the whole journey

7. Line Graph
A graph that uses points connected by lines to show how something changes in value

8. Distance-Time Graph
If a graph is plotted of speed or velocity against time, the area under the graph gives the distance traveled.

9. X- Axis
the horizontal axis in a plane coordinate system

10. Y-Axis
the vertical axis in a plane coordinate system.
